DESCRIPTION:Brazelton Touchpoints Center will offer a workshop in August that explores what causes people to experience conversations as challenging. \nLearn More\nNavigating Challenging Conversations is a three-part\, live interactive webinar series that is aimed at professionals who work with families of young children\, including child care educators\, family child care providers\, home visitors\, pediatricians\, early intervention educators\, and more. \nThe series will explore how individual contexts and preconceived notions may affect when and how we experience conversations as challenging. Participants will practice applying a strengths-based approach to effectively engage in challenging conversations. \nThe webinar will run from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET on the following Thursdays: \n\nAug. 14: The Why of Challenging Conversations\nAug. 21: The What of Challenging Conversations\nAug. 28: The How of Challenging Conversations\n\nAfter the series\, a 4.5 clock hour certificate will be provided to apply to continuing education credits for physicians\, nurses\, social workers\, and psychologists. \nFor more information\, visit the series’ website.
