SUMMARY:Brazelton Touchpoints Center: Parenting While Rising to Child Developmental Challenges
DESCRIPTION:Brazelton Touchpoints Center will host a series of conversations with families of children with differences in or challenges to their development. \nLearn More\nParenting While Rising to Child Development Challenges will offer an opportunity to connect for parents of children with differences in or challenges to their development. Through conversations with parents of children with developmental differences\, the events will explore the unique as well as common experiences of loving and raising children whose developmental process is delayed or atypical. \nSpeakers will discuss the challenges and joys of family life with children with a wide array of ways of being in the world. There will also be discussion on how to best support and advocate for children. \nThe series will run for four Mondays through Dec. 16. Each episode is an hour\, with live Spanish translation and closed captioning. \nEach episode runs from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. ET. Episodes include: \n\nSept. 23\nOct. 21\nNov. 4\nDec. 16\n\nRegistration is now open.

DESCRIPTION:ELRC Region 5 is offering a professional development opportunity for your team of early learning educators. \nCapturing Moments: Planning For and Conducting Classroom Observations will introduce early education professionals to the importance and value of purposeful observation. \nThrough whole and small group discussions and activities\, students will understand what observation is and identify various types of observation used in the classroom.
