DESCRIPTION:Beverly’s PGH will host a free community baby shower on Tuesday\, June 30 at the Spartan Community Center of Hazelwood. \nLearn More\nThe event\, which runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.\, is intended for those who are expecting or are a caregiver of a newborn\, from birth to three months. \nBeverly PGH’s mission is to help meet the essential needs of families through celebration\, recognition\, and support. Its Beverly’s Babies division hosts free community baby showers to celebrate and strengthen new families. \nAt the shower\, participants will have the opportunity to connect with community resource providers\, meet other new parents\, play games\, and receive free baby items. \nIf English is not your first language\, contact Emma Myers at emyers@beverlyspgh.org to request interpretation. For other questions\, call 724-590-5106. \nThe event will be held inside. DESCRIPTION:The second annual 3 Crafty Kids Summer Art Show will be held at Bella’s Wishes in Ambridge from June 17 to 27. \nLearn More\nThe show features original paintings\, pottery\, fused glass\, photography\, stickers\, fairy wands\, 3D prints\, magnets\, shirts\, bags\, and other original artwork created by local children. \nVisitors are encouraged to help the children give back to the community by donating cat food\, kitten litter\, or cat toys for a local cat rescue during the show. \nThe show’s Artist Meet & Greet on Wednesday\, June 24 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Light refreshments will be available.
