SUMMARY:Strike the Ember: Forging the Bridge of Maternal Health & Equity
DESCRIPTION:This event\, which will run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday\, October 2\, is focused on maternal equity for the BIPOC\, Latina\, and underserved communities. \nThe Maya Organization event will include cocktails\, charcuterie\, and a raffle. Attendees will include business owners\, community leaders\, healthcare workers\, and advocates. \nThe Maya Organization helps mothers through pregnancy\, birth\, and the months that follow\, offering bilingual support and wraparound care to families and mothers who need it most. DESCRIPTION:Trying Together will hold its UnConference: Ordinary Moments\, Meaningful Connections from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Monday\, October 12. \nStart your day with a keynote presentation by Dr. Junlei Li\, creator of the Simple Interactions approach and co-chair of Harvard’s Graduate Human Development and Education Department\, which will be followed by dynamic and diverse morning and afternoon sessions. A light breakfast with coffee and tea and a boxed lunch will be provided as a part of the registration fee. Registration is required. Please register by September 28.\nPlease note: 4.5 PQAS and Act 48 credit hours are available. \nUpon registering\, select your first and second choices of preferred sessions for each of the session time slots. \nPlease review the session descriptions linked here. \nFAQ’sHow Do I Register?Registration is now open and session names\, descriptions\, and times are included.
