SUMMARY:Early Childhood Mental Health Support
DESCRIPTION:Join the Yale Child Study Center\, ZERO TO THREE\, and Georgia Early Education Alliance for Ready Students on July 21 for a look at suspensions and expulsions\, early childhood mental health consultation\, the impact of new rescue and relief funding\, and more. \nEarly Childhood Mental Health Support\nThe pandemic increased stress for children\, parents\, and the early childhood workforce. Many were forced to stay home\, others were forced to work. Increases in stress require increases in resources to effectively support the workforce as they manage their own stress and the social-emotional needs of the children returning to their care. \nThe good news is that there are models that research shows are effective\, and resources from the federal COVID relief funds that can support their development. Attend this event to take a closer look at suspensions and expulsions\, mental health consultations\, new rescue and relief funding\, and more. \nWho will you hear from?\nDuring this event\, participants will hear from the following presenters: \n\n\n\nJoin Dr. Walter Gilliam from the Yale Child Study Center\n\n\n\n\nDr. Lee Johnson III from ZERO TO THREE\n\n\n\n\nCallan Wells from Georgia Early Education Alliance for Ready Students\n\n\n\nRegistration\nTo register\, complete the online registration form.
