Join the NCPFCE on August 26 for their “Child Tax and Child and Dependent Care Credits” chatathon session. \nChild Tax and Child and Dependent Care Credits\nJoin the National Center on Parent\, Family\, and Community Engagement (NCPFCE) on August 26 to hear from a panel of experts about the American Rescue Plan’s (ARP) montly child allowance and other tax credits available to families. The ARP created a monthly child allowance to replace the current Child Tax Credit. Attend the Virtual Early Childhood Education (ECE) Summit from October 18 – 20\, 2021. \n2021 Early Childhood Education Summit\nFrom October 18 – 20\, the ECE Summit will feature three keynotes\, 12 sessions\, 60 workshops\, and networking sessions that offer early learning professionals opportunities to: \n\n\n\ninteract with thought-leaders\,\nconnect with peers through live chat\, and\ngain knowledge to enrich their professional development in the care and education of young children.\n\n\n\nThis is a fully virtual event. SUMMARY:Finding the Best Books for Babies
DESCRIPTION:Join Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh for an upcoming professional development session\, “Finding the Best Books for Babies.” Individuals may register for this online event via Zoom. \nAdditional Information\nEach year since 2000\, Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh has led a panel of local librarians and child development experts in choosing ten best books published for babies in the past year. The resulting annual Best Books for Babies booklist\, a nationally recognized guide\, assists parents\, teachers and caregivers in selecting high quality materials that will delight and engage babies age birth to 18 months. In this workshop\, participants will learn what makes a Best Book for Babies and will leave with practical tips for evaluating and selecting books for babies. \nThis virtual workshop will be hosted on Zoom. Attendees will receive 1 hour of PQAS credit.
