DESCRIPTION:Trying Together and SmartKids Child Care & Learning Center invite families to join them for a Family Fun Night at the Washington Wild Things game on Sunday\, August 9. \nLearn More\nThe Wild Things will play the Evansville Otters during the game at EQT Park\, located at 1 Washington Federal Way in Washington. Children\, ages 12 and under\, will get in free and receive a voucher for a free meal that night at the game. \nTo support the work of Trying Together and the Washington\, Pa.-based SmartKids Child Care & Learning Center\, 50% of ticket sale proceeds will go to the two organizations. \nThe game will begin at 4:05 p.m. on August 9. The event will also include a kid’s area with inflatables on the third-base side. A ticket costs $1 to play on the four inflatables. \nTickets can be purchased online. A single ticket for attendees ages 13 and above will be $11.50. Group reserved seats are located in Section 206. Tickets can be purchased until 6:35 p.m. on game day.

SUMMARY:78th Annual Butler Farm Show
DESCRIPTION:Attendees at the Butler Farm Show will be able to see hundreds of farm animals\, take part in nightly entertainment\, and see variety acts such as jugglers\, clowns\, magicians\, and midway rides by Bartlebaugh Amusements. \nThe farm show will also have nightly grandstand events such as truck and tractor pulls\, demo derby\, and figure 8 races. Visitors can purchase farm products\, arts and crafts\, baked goods\, and quilts that are judged and placed on display for everyone to see. \nThe show will also feature more than 200 commercial exhibits such as home improvements\, automobiles\, lawn\, garden\, and farm equipment. \nDaily admission is $10\, which includes rides and grandstand (except Thursday and Friday\, where wristbands are $5). Gates open at 8:30 a.m. \nThe farm show will run from Monday\, August 10 to Saturday\, August 15.
