DESCRIPTION:Join the Lawrenceville Farmers Market on Tuesdays through December 14 to browse fresh\, healthy food from local farmers and small businesses! \nLawrenceville Farmers Market\nJoin the Lawrenceville Farmers Market in Arsenal Park every Tuesday\, rain or shine\, from 3 – 7 p.m. The market will run from May 18 through December 14\, 2021. Dedicated shopping hours are available from 3 – 4 p.m. for higher-risk populations. During those times\, all attendees are required to wear a mask. \nSNAP funds are accepted and will be matched with Food Bucks ($2 in Food Bucks for every $5 in EBT benefits spent). WIC and FMNP vouchers are also accepted. \nCOVID-19\nDedicated shopping hours are available from 3 – 4 p.m. for higher-risk populations. During this time\, all attendees are required to wear a mask. If you are a high-risk individual who is unable to leave the house\, sign up for their Buddy System to get matched with a buddy who can shop on your behalf. \nAttendees should only visit the market if they are feeling well and are encouraged to pack hand sanitizer and a clean face mask. Join Everyday Interactions Design Strategist Sarah Grubb in August for a three-part professional growth series! \nThis series is open to early childhood educators in Allegheny County. Participants should commit to all three sessions. Six PQAS credit hours are available. \nEveryday Interactions Matter\nDuring this series\, early learning professionals will engage with the Everyday Interactions Matter approach through a process of careful observation\, discussion\, and self-reflection. Authentic video clips of ordinary interactions between educators and children will serve as the raw material for deepening participants’ observational skills and self-reflection. \nThese simple moments that take place during play\, transition\, and daily routines form the very foundation of learning and growth for children. DESCRIPTION:Want to learn about child allowances and other tax credits available to families? Join the NCPFCE on August 26 for their “Child Tax and Child and Dependent Care Credits” chatathon session. \nChild Tax and Child and Dependent Care Credits\nJoin the National Center on Parent\, Family\, and Community Engagement (NCPFCE) on August 26 to hear from a panel of experts about the American Rescue Plan’s (ARP) montly child allowance and other tax credits available to families. The ARP created a monthly child allowance to replace the current Child Tax Credit.
