DESCRIPTION:CASA for Kids will honor National Child Abuse Prevention Month with its 2026 Walk for a Child event on Saturday\, April 25 in Canonsburg. \nLearn More\nThe event – which focuses on support\, advocacy\, and change – is a mile-long walk that provides a chance to stand up for abused and neglected children and to help ensure their voices are heard. \nThose interested in participating should meet at the Southpointe Town Center\, located at 1900 Main St. in Canonsburg. The walk runs from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. \nAdults will pay $25\, while children under age 12 will get in for free. \nMore information is available on CASA for Kids’ website.

DESCRIPTION:The Pennsylvania Trolley Museum will offer sensory friendly hours for children on days in February\, March\, and April. \nLearn More\nThe museum\, located at 1 Electric Way in Washington\, will offer the sensory friendly hours for young visitors on February 8\, March 15\, April 2\, and April 26 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. \nThe cost of admission is $20 for adults\, $19 for seniors\, $15 for children between the ages of 3 and 18\, and free for visitors under 2 years of age. \nVisitors will be able to explore the museum in a sensory-modified setting with quieter streetcars\, lowered exhibit sounds\, and soft lighting.
