Hill District Early Literacy Initiative

The Hill District Early Literacy Initiative is a group of community partners working together to grow reading skills and promote early literacy for children birth to five years of age. The goal of the initiative is to develop a community-led plan that promotes literacy activities in all areas of their neighborhood and ultimately improve grade-level reading proficiency over the next five years.
