Allegheny RiverTrail Park will celebrate the grand opening of its new park and trail expansion on June 8.
The free, festival-style community celebration will feature food trucks, local vendors, family-friendly programming, and live music. The event will be held to celebrate the park’s six new acres of parkland.
The festival is intended for infants and toddlers as well as students in pre-k and grades k-12.
The event will run from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, June 8 at Allegheny RiverTrail Park, located at 285 River Ave. For more information, visit the Allegheny RiverTrail Park’s website.
