ELRC Region 5 Downtown Office Open by Appointment

As of July 6, ELRC Region 5 reopened its physical downtown office by appointment only for families and professionals interested in accessing services and support.

Details on Operations

Appointment and dropbox access hours at the office, located at 304 Wood Street, Suite 400 in downtown Pittsburgh, will be Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Satellite offices are not reopening at this time. In-person operations will continue to be dependent on recommendations provided by Governor Wolf and the Pennsylvania Department of Health. The ELRC Region 5 will continue to monitor these recommendations.

Appointments

ELRC Region 5 staff will work to accommodate everyone’s appointments while ensuring appropriate health and safety practices. Visitors with appointments will be escorted to a meeting room once they check in with the front desk to avoid overcrowding the lobby. Virtual and phone appointments continue to be available for convenience and safety.

COVID-19 Safety

ELRC Region 5 staff will be required to follow guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), including:

    • wearing a mask while walking through or working in communal spaces,
    • socially distancing themselves from others (at least six feet),
    • sanitizing their workspaces regularly, and
    • maintaining proper handwashing.

It is recommended that any person with an appointment should wear a mask while visiting the office regardless of vaccinated status. Masks will be available upon request for adults and children.

Front desk staff will take everyone’s temperature as they enter the suite and anyone with a temperature of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher will be asked to reschedule their appointment. Visitors will also be asked to wash their hands before being seen for an appointment.
