This year’s theme is “Every Person, Every Path, One Passion,” which celebrates the work of educators to build inclusive education spaces for all learners.

The evening will begin with the student poster session, during which students from various institutions are invited to create research posters on any early learning topic to showcase their knowledge. All documents relating to this part of the evening are available online.

This will be followed by keynote speaker Karen Nemeth, whose expertise is supporting educators to provide high-quality experiences for multi-language learners. She will share her wisdom on creating classrooms where all children can succeed.

A tour of Westmoreland’s makerspace, MADE@Westmoreland, will take place at 5 p.m. for those who are interested. MADE offers workshops designed for all skill levels and provides access to industry-grade equipment, such as 3D printers, laser cutters, and CNC machines.

To honor the event’s theme of universality and Fred Rogers’ ideal that caring for our neighbors is a sacred act, there will be a sweater collection for adults and children at the event. Those interested in donating should bring gently-used sweaters.
