Guided by staff, Buzzword Pittsburgh engages early learners in activities that focus on young children’s language and vocabulary development.
All events are free for learners ages five and under, with their caregivers. A light dinner will be provided. In addition, the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh will be there signing up families for the summer reading initiative. Families will receive literacy resources and the children’s book, “My Cousin Momo.”
This Buzzword program is co-sponsored by the Carnegie Science Center, Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy, Pittsburgh Ballet Theater, and the Pittsburgh Festival Opera, with funding from the Heinz Endowments.
