Pritzker Children’s Initiative will host an upcoming webinar on the challenges children face regarding healthy development.
Pritzer and the National Institute for Early Education Research will host “Closing the Opportunity Gap for Young Children” on Zoom.
The webinar will delve into a recent National Academies report of the same name that explores the challenges that many U.S. children face in accessing the conditions and resources necessary for healthy development. Presenters will discuss the causes, costs, and effects of the opportunity gap in children, from birth to 8 years.
The webinar will also provide an overview of how policies have created and perpetuated opportunity gaps that affect children’s educational and health outcomes.
