Virtual roundtable discussion, Powering Children’s Potential: The Case for Helping Parents and Families, powered by PNC Grow Up Great, will be held on Wednesday, April 27, from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m.
During this program, participants will hear compelling dialogue on why supporting parents and caregivers of young children should be a national priority – and the role each of us can play in effecting change.
This event features Dr. Dana Suskind, co-director and founder of the TMW Center for Early Learning + Public Health, pediatric cochlear implant surgeon and professor at the University of Chicago. She is a two-time author – with her second book, Parent Nation, launching soon. Joining the discussion is Vicki Henn, PNC chief human resources officer, who has been instrumental in the development of PNC’s family-friendly policies. Participants will also hear from parents with their perspectives on raising families while in the workforce, and the importance of family-friendly benefits.
