The Riverlife Chalk Fest will feature the work of 25 chalk artists from 12 states as well as local food and drink along Pittsburgh’s North Shore.
The third annual event will mark the start of summer along the city’s riverfront. On Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, visitors will be able to view chalk art along Isabella Street and Allegheny Landing.
The streets will be the artists’ canvas that they will cover with murals. A percentage of food and beverage sales from the festival benefits Riverlife’s work to create, activate, and celebrate Pittsburgh’s riverfronts.
The festival will run from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on May 25 and a viewing day on May 26 will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
