Allegheny Partners for Out-of-School Time (APOST) will host its summer 2024 training series in six sessions in June, July, and August.

The professional development series will incorporate Weikart Youth Methods workshops – including a new social-emotional learning course – as well as two opportunities around child abuse and neglect.

This year’s series includes:

• June 20: Ask-Listen-Encourage; 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at CoLab18 (in Nova Place)
• June 21: Foundations & Self Awareness of Emotional Development; 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at CoLab18 (in Nova Place)
• July 11: Recognizing & Reporting Child Abuse; 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.; live webinar
• July 18: Recognizing & Responding to Child Abuse & Neglect; 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.; live webinar
• Aug. 29: Foundations & Self Awareness of Emotional Development; 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at CoLab18 (in Nova Place)
• Aug. 30: Ask-Listen-Encourage; 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at Carlow University.
