A group of 30 independent bookstores in southwestern Pennsylvania will participate in the second annual Great Pittsburgh Book Crawl from Saturday, July 18 to Sunday, July 26.

The event will enable participants to discover bookstores and win raffle prizes in a number of southwestern Pennsylvania counties, including Allegheny, Butler, Westmoreland, Armstrong, Beaver, and Washington. Events at the participating stores are designed to appeal to all ages.

Those taking part in the book crawl can pick up a free passport at any of the participating bookstores beginning on July 18. Participants can get their passport stamped at every store they visit if they are able to find the hidden object at each store or make a purchase. With at least 15 stamps, participants can be entered in a raffle to win a mystery prize.
