During Building a Stronger Workforce: Incentives, Tools, & Practices to Support Working Families, participants will hear from workforce and child care experts, community partners, and local businesses and will have the opportunity to ask questions, share challenges, discover resources, and connect with local organizations.

Attendees will learn about:

• Federal and Pennsylvania tax credits and employer incentives
• Child care assistance and resources for working families
• The Employer Child Care Toolkit and family-friendly workplace practices
• Local programs, funding opportunities, and pilot initiatives
• Real examples from employers putting new ideas into action
• Strategies to strengthen recruitment, retention, attendance, and engagement

The event will run from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 12 at the Laurel Highlands Workforce and Opportunity Center, located at 310 Donohoe Road in Greensburg.
