Guidance for Keystone STARS During COVID-19

The Pennsylvania Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL), Bureau of Early Learning Policy and Professional Development provided updated information for licensed child care facilities and other early childhood education programs participating in Keystone STARS during COVID-19.

According to the announcement, all policies and procedures identified in ELRC Announcement 20 #14 will continue until OCDEL issues a separate announcement rescinding this policy. The announcement provides information on:

- Designation protocols with virtual components,
- Keystone STARS paperwork renewals, and
- Professional Development tracking grids for teaching staff and non-instructional staff.
