July 9, 2021 Let’s Celebrate This #SummerOfPlay Whether you are looking for in-person activities or are loving virtual options, there is plenty to do in your neighborhood to celebrate the 2021 #SummerOfPlay! Check out these great resources for summer programming. Bridge to Learn Bridge to Learn features summer programming options for kids of all ages, including: a program finder tool, all-day camps for Pittsburgh Public School students, free food events at locations across the Greater Pittsburgh Area, information on a free festival of hands-on learning events, an online event listing for kids and families, and more! Child care and education planning tools are also available. CitiParks Citiparks offers several programs for children of all ages, including: CitiCamp (for children ages 7 – 12 years old), Tot Camp (for children ages 4 – 6 years old), Roving Art Cart (best suited for children ages 5 – 12 years old, but all ages welcome), Alphabet Trail & Tails (hosted on September 11), and more! The programs cover a range of topics, including science, technology, media, art, engineering, nature, outdoor education, history, culture, children’s books, music, games, and more! Families can also view outdoor activities, recreation centers, swimming locations, food programs, and other opportunities.
