Join Adagio Health in recognizing Black Maternal Health Week by attending their online event “Black Maternal Health: An American Crisis” on Thursday, April 15.
About
Black women in the U.S. routinely experience poor maternal health outcomes, including disproportionately high rates of death related to pregnancy or childbirth, irrespective of income and education levels. The Better Health Outcomes Speaker Series seeks to further engagement and advocacy around issues that have taken on new importance during the COVID-19 pandemic: Food Insecurity, Black Maternal Health, Behavioral Health, and Racial Health Disparities.
This event will focus on Black Maternal Health and will feature the following presenters:
