In partnership with the Southwest Regional Key, Westmoreland County Community College is offering a series of professional development courses that can be taken individually as workshops or as a full 3-hour college credit course.

Credited college courses being offered are:

• ECE 183-KU Creative Experiences – September 6, 2018— April 11, 2019; Thursdays 6-9 p.m.;
  Westmoreland-New Kensington
• ECE 186-KU Family & Society – September 11, 2018— April 30, 2019; Tuesdays 6-9 p.m.;
  Westmoreland-Latrobe
• ECE 190-KU- Child Health, Safety & Nutrition – January 14—April 29, 2019; Mondays 6-9 p.m.;
  Westmoreland-Fayette

Each course is 3 college credits and can be applied towards an Associate degree at Westmoreland. Tuition is $210 per course and $100 for the textbook. Rising STARS Tuition Assistance and the TEACH Scholarship are both accepted at Westmoreland and can be used towards the cost of the courses.
