Personalized Learning Leadership Conference – Moving from Theory to Action

Join the Pittsburgh Personalized Learning Network (PLPGH) for their first annual summer conference on strategies to implement personalized learning in the classroom.
The agenda will include nationally known speakers, as well as innovative educators from across southwestern Pennsylvania. This will be a collaborative and interactive workshop with peers to discuss specific strategies on how to effectively implement personalized learning, and how to move from “pockets of innovation” to scale.
The session is intended for district and building leadership teams as well as instructional leaders and coaches. Thanks to the generous support of The Grable Foundation, the Personalized Learning Leadership Conference is free for southwestern PA educators to to attend!
Keynote Speakers:
- Dr. Shawn K. Smith, founder of Modern Teacher and author of, “The New Agenda, Achieving Personalized Learning Through Digital Convergence“.
- Dr. Bena Kallick, co-director of the Institute for Habits of the Mind and program director for Eduplanet21. Bena is also the co-author, with Allison Zmuda, of “Students at the Center, Personalized Learning with Habits of Mind.”
