This course helps participants to understand the causes of escalation in young children, learn about foundational classroom practices to prevent escalation, practice de-escalation strategies, and learn about ways to reconnect and reengage children after the escalation has ended.
Participants will learn how to use the ASQ-3 as a screening tool for children ages 3 months to 5 years.
