Strengthening Family Engagement – Tools for Positive Partnering

Wednesday, 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm Free

Child Care Professionals: Want to learn how to leverage families’ strengths, maintain positive relationships, and connect families with community supports? Join Trying Together on Wednesday, April 14 for our online course, “Connections and Conversations: Strengthening Family Engagement – Tools for Positive Partnering.”

About

Connections and Conversations Virtual Check-Ins are interactive sessions that highlight topics of interest to the field of early childhood education. Participants will engage in virtual discussions with child development experts while interacting with early learning practitioners to share questions, experiences, and expertise.

In this workshop, child care professionals will learn to use the Trying Together Family Engagement Toolkit toward enriching their family engagement practice. During this “how-to”, participants will learn to navigate the online toolkit as well as discuss ways in which they can leverage families’ strengths, maintain positive relationships, and connect families with community support and resources.

    • Participants may use the “Raise Hand” feature in Zoom to request an opportunity to comment or ask a question. Individuals will be temporarily unmuted by the moderator.
