How Optimistic Leaders Can Create Equity in Early Learning Programs

Thursday, 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm Free

Early educators are invited to join Leading for Children on October 14 to learn how they can ensure equity and shared power in their early learning settings.

Create Equity in Early Learning Programs

To create the next generation of critical thinkers and leaders, we must ensure that every child has a sense of agency — that they are problem solvers and decision-makers! Children must learn in equitable settings where power is shared and all the adults define themselves as Optimistic Leaders.

Learning Objectives

This webinar will examine how Optimistic Leaders think impact, cultivate self-awareness, nurture relationships, refine communication, and activate curiosity to enhance their work and ensure children’s success as learners. Participants will:

    • understand their role as Optimistic Leaders for Children,
    • apply the five commitments of Optimistic Leadership to be more effective in their roles, and
    • use strategies to ensure increased equity and shared power in their settings.

Certificates of Attendance and CEUs will be available.
