Are you interested in receiving a three-year Mental Health First Aid certification? Check out Pennsylvania Head Start Association’s virtual course, “Mental Health First Aid.”
Like CPR training helps a non-medical professional assist an individual following a heart attack, Mental Health First Aid helps an individual who does not have clinical training assist someone experiencing a mental health crisis. In both situations, the goal is to help support an individual until appropriate professional help arrives.
Participants will receive a digital manual and participant guide. Upon satisfactory completion of the course, participants will be certified Mental Health First Aiders for three years.
This training will be hosted virtually on Zoom. Approximately two to two and a half hours of work is required in advance of the training session. To register and learn more, visit the event webpage. Space is limited.
