2021 Brown Mama Monologues

Tuesday, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm Free

Join Brown Mamas in celebrating the beauty, diversity, trials, and triumphs of Black motherhood by attending their virtual “Brown Mama Monologues” event on May 4, 2021.

About

The Brown Mama Monologues is an annual showcase of eight African-American mothers telling unique stories about the trials and triumphs of mothering in color. The show gives a platform to Black mothers in need of an opportunity to share their motherhood narrative and provides an opportunity to diversify and add color to the American motherhood narrative.

This event will be hosted by past storyteller, well-known life coach, and CEO of When She Thrives, Mrs. Tiffany Huff-Strothers. Event hosts will be giving out signature Mommy Awards to three women. Featured mothers will discuss a range of topics, including miscarriage, homeschooling, police raids, being daddy’s girl, and more.

Registration

This event will be live-streamed on Facebook and Crowdcast. To register and learn more, visit the event page.
