Want to learn how to influence state legislators to make increased investments in child care and pre-k? Join Trying Together on Wednesday, March 31 for our online course, “Connections and Conversations: Elevating ECE During Pennsylvania’s Budget Process.”
Connections and Conversations Virtual Check-Ins are interactive sessions that highlight topics of interest to the field of early childhood education. Participants will engage in virtual discussions with child development experts while interacting with early learning practitioners to share questions, experiences, and expertise.
This conversation will focus on early childhood funding in Pennsylvania. Presenters will share updates on the 2021 budget process including the Governor’s proposal and how to influence state legislators to make increased investments in child care and pre-k. Additionally, presenters will provide tools and resources for advocating at the state level. The goal is that by the end of the conversation participants will commit to take an action and use their voice to elevate Early Childhood Education (ECE).
