Fatherhood Program Offers Free Workshops

Goodwill Southwestern Pennsylvania’s Fatherhood FIRE program helps fathers get the skills they need to be actively involved in their children’s lives.

 

About

Through a series of workshops, FIRE provides fathers with the parenting, relationship, and communication skills they need to be involved, responsible, and committed fathers. The program offers incentives; transportation assistance; optional employment and training activities; and more.

Upcoming Virtual Class Dates

    • May 17 – June 24, Tuesdays/Thursdays, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
    • June 8 – July 15, Tuesday/Thursday, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Eligibility

To be eligible, participants must be a father or father figure, age 18 years or older, of a child 24 years old or younger, and reside in Allegheny County.
