Online PD: School-Age Child Development: What Does Development Have to Do with School-Age Programming?

Monday, All Day

When teachers and providers understand the development of school-age children it helps to build the foundation for planning and implementing successful school-age programs. When staff know and understand school-age child development, they can work with children and co-workers to design environments, plan activities, set appropriate expectations and limits for children’s behavior.

This professional development opportunity has been underwritten by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services, Office of Child Development and Early Learning and funded by the Southwest Regional Key, a program of YWCA Greater Pittsburgh.
