Needs Assessments for PD Planning
Topic: Using Keystone STARS resources, educators will be guided through conversations to assess needs for professional development planning.
Connections and Conversations Virtual Check-Ins are interactive sessions that highlight topics of interest to the field of early childhood education. Participants will engage in virtual discussions via Zoom with child development experts while interacting with early learning practitioners to share questions, experiences, and expertise about being an effective planner for Professional Development for you and your staff.

- Core Knowledge Competencies (CKC): K 8 13.C2 – Choose professional development opportunities that support individual and program needs checking regularly for professional development updates on the online professional development calendar.
Learning Objectives
Through active participation and successful completion, students will be able to:

- prioritize professional development needs, and
-
- apply Keystone STARS resources/tools to construct a professional development plan for ECE program staff.
Registration
Step One: Registration

- REQUIRED: To register, complete the registration form by June 21 at 11:55 p.m.

- Please have your PD Registry Number available (if any).
Step Two: Requesting Credit

- REQUIRED FOR CREDIT: To receive credit, participants must complete a PD Registry Credit Request Form.

- One hour of PQAS credit is available.
