Are you interested in meeting with elected officials to advocate for early childhood? Join Trying Together on Tuesday, April 20 for our free online course, “Crafting & Sharing Your Message: Advocacy for Family and Group Child Care Providers.”
Effective messaging helps advocates communicate key points to their audience that can potentially influence their level of support. This workshop is intended to connect advocacy knowledge and expertise in ECE to advocacy actions. Presenters will review early childhood research and effective messaging such as brain science, return on investment, impact on the workforce and business community, and high-quality teaching.
The focus of the workshop will be geared specifically toward family child care and group child care providers. Attendees will leave the workshop with talking points and resources for meeting with elected officials to advocate for early childhood.

One hour of PQAS credit will be available. To receive credit, participants must complete the PD Registry Credit Request Form (in addition to the registration form).
