Pittsburgh’s CitiParks Office of Special Events has announced the schedule for the upcoming 2024 Summer Concert Series Presented by Citizens. This year’s four concert series will feature 23 free events, including a July 14 performance by the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.
Stars at Riverview will showcase local artists on Saturday evenings in Riverview Park throughout June and July. Each week, concerts supported by the Allegheny Regional Asset District (RAD) will be followed by Dollar Bank’s Cinema in the Park.
Bach, Beethoven, and Brunch will bring classical melodies to Mellon Park. This year marks the return of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra to this program. The Highland Park lawn will host local musicians in the Reservoir of Jazz series, which take place on Sunday afternoons in August. The concerts are followed by Summer Soul Line Dancing sessions.
This year’s Jam at Grandview on Mt. Washington will take place on five Saturdays in August. These will feature rotating selection of ales, wines, and spirits and music from new acts each week.
