*Please sign up for a 40-minute slot. When you sign up, you will receive a confirmation email with details about the location of the event, parking, and what to bring with you. If you would like to sign up for both an early childhood and a special education interview, you may sign up twice. However, select your times carefully so that you do not select overlapping time slots.
Paraprofessionals provide educational support in one-on-one sessions, classrooms, and throughout the entire school at Pittsburgh Public Schools. Paraprofessionals work closely with teachers to provide learning, autistic, multiple disabilities, and life skills support to students.
When you arrive on the day of the event, you will check-in with PPS staff, have an opportunity to learn more and ask questions about Pittsburgh Public Schools benefits, and participate in a 15 minute interview. PPS asks that you arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled interview time so that PPS staff can move all candidates through the interview process smoothly. Please plan to spend up to 60 minutes at the event.
If weather permits, the interviews will be conducted outdoors, and there are a few short staircases to navigate to the inteview areas. If you would like to request reasonable accommodations for your interview, please include that information in your sign up.
