Sam’s Club recalled its Member’s Mark children’s pajama sets because they violate mandatory standards for flammability of children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injuries.

Spiral tower toy sets sold on Amazon by Beestech were recalled because they contain small balls and are intended for children under 3 years of age, posing a deadly choking hazard.

TecFlox recalled its hair and beard growth serum bottles because they contain minoxidil, which is required to be in child-resistant packaging, but was not. The bottles pose a risk of serious injury or death from poisoning if the contents are swallowed by children.

Tuymec has recalled its minoxidil hair growth spray bottles because they are required to be in child-resistant packaging, but were not. The hair serum poses a risk of serious injury or death from poisoning if the contents are swallowed by children.

Gavoyeat recalled its Halloween light-up rings because the battery compartment within the LED light ring contains button cell batteries that can easily be accessed by children. When button cell or coin batteries are swallowed, they can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns, or death.

LED lights sold by Happiness Light on Amazon were recalled because they contain lithium coin batteries that can easily be accessed by children, posing an ingestion hazard. Maitys recalled its magnetic drinkware charms because they contain magnets that pose an ingestion hazard to children. When high-powered magnets are swallowed, the ingested magnets can attract each other or other metal objects and become lodged in the digestive system. This can result in perforations, twisting, or blockage of the intestines.

Silks recalled its children’s loungewear sets because they violate mandatory flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of serious injuries or deadly burn hazards to children. 

Montessori recalled its toy sets because they contain an airplane-shaped teething toy that has tentacle ends that can pose a choking hazard to children. 

Mini-round toddler trampolines manufactured by SEGMART were recalled due to strangulation hazards. Young children can become entangled in the straps of the hammock, punching bag, and hand ring accessories, posing a strangulation hazard that can result in serious injury or death.

JC Sales recalled its Lil’ Buddies pet laser toys because they contain button cell and coin batteries and the compartment containing them is not secure, making them easily accessible to children and posing an ingestion hazard. When button cell or coin batteries are swallowed, they can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns, or death.

ZMC Group recalled its LED finger beam lights because they contain button cell batteries that can easily be accessed by children. When button cell or coin batteries are swallowed, they can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns, or death.

Sanlebi recalled its pet vet playsets because the button cell batteries in the nail grinder and otoscope can easily be accessed by children.

ATOYUS recalled its children’s activity cubes because they violate a small parts ban. The toys are intended for children under age 3 and the toys’ xylophone screws and clock hands can detach. Also, the toys’ mallets have spherical ends, which pose a choking hazard.

Cpzzkq recalled its baby loungers because they violate mandatory safety standards for infant support cushions. The loungers’ padding can obstruct an infant’s breathing, posing a serious risk of injury or suffocation.

ShymeryDirect recalled its LED lights because they contain button cell or coin batteries that can be accessed easily by children. When button cell or coin batteries are swallowed, they can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns, or death.

Halloween pumpkin carving kits sold on Amazon by Besslly Store were recalled because they contain button cell batteries in the tea lights that can be easily accessed by children. When button cell or coin batteries are swallowed, they can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns, or death.

Vitaquest International recalled multiple iron supplement bottles and packets because they are not in child-resistant packaging, posing a risk of serious injury or death from poisoning if the contents are swallowed by children.

Fun and Function recalled its children’s metal multi-point swing frames because they can crack or break during use, posing a fall hazard.

Magnetic stick figure sets sold by BlissfulDestiny sold on Amazon have been recalled because they contain loose magnets that pose ingestion hazards to children. When high-powered magnets are swallowed, they can attack each other or other metal objects and become lodged in the digestive system. This can result in perforations, twisting, or blockage of the intestines, blood poisoning, or death.

Children’s tower stools imported by AMZCMJ DGD have been recalled because they can collapse or tip over while in use and a child’s torso can fit through the opening of the tower’s sides, posing a serious risk of injury or death by entrapment.

KMUSYL has recalled its Big Red Barn Farm Animal Playsets because the toy is intended for children under age 3 and the fence handles can detach from the toy, posing a deadly choking hazard.

Children’s tower stools imported by TOETOL Home have been recalled ecause they can collapse or tip over while in use and a child’s torso can fit through the opening of the tower’s sides, posing a serious risk of injury or death by entrapment.

Lil Pick Up has recalled its Youth All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) because they fail to meet maximum speed limitations for ATVs intended for children, ages 6 and older. The mechanical suspension fails to comply with safety requirements and the throttle may get stuck during use, all of which pose a crash hazard. One death relating to the ATVs has been reported. 

Autobrush has recalled its Sonic Pro Children’s Toothbrushes because they contain a lithium coin battery that can be easily accessed by children. The packaging also does not bear the required warning labels for products containing such batteries. If ingested, the batteries can cause serious injuries, including chemical burns or death.

mGanna has recalled its sodium hydroxide pellet bags because the packaging is not child-resistant as required by law. This poses a risk of chemical burns and irritation to the skin and eyes. 

HappyGira has recalled its Sweetie Baby and Style Life Eleven Baby Loungers because the sides of the loungers are shorter than the minimum side height limit to secure the infant and they do not have a stand, posing a fall hazard. An infant can fall out of the enclosed opening at the foot of the lounger or become entrapped. The sleeping pad’s thickness exceeds the maximum limit, posing a suffocation hazard. 

Wiifo recalled its children’s tower stools because they can collapse or tip over while in use, and a child’s torso can fit through the opening of the tower’s sides, posing a risk of serious injury or death.

  • Dorel Juvenile Group recalled 179,845 Safety 1st child car seats because the headrest foam pad is not adequately secured, which can allow a child to pick off pieces of foam. The pieces can present a choking hazard to children.
  • My Life Inc. issued an allergy alert on undeclared milk in ML Natural Premium Quality Lactoferrin as Apolactoferrin and recalled approximately 65 bottles of the 300mg. supplement. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the product.
  • Five Below recalled its Room2Room LED Iridescent Bear Lights due to fire and burn hazards. The power switch on the USB cord can overheat and melt, posing fire and burn hazards.
  • Honey Joy recalled multiple convertible and foldable high chairs due to the risk of suffocation. The chairs, which violate federal regulations for infant sleep products and inclined sleepers, have an incline angle that is greater than 10 degrees, posing a suffocation risk.
  • Jonas C recalled its long-haul portable ATV fuel containers due to the risk of injury and death from burn, fire, and poisoning hazards. The fuel containers violate child-resistant requirements for closures under the Children’s Gasoline Burn Prevention Act.
  • Fisher-Price recalled its Brunch & Go stroller toys due to choking hazards. The yolk of the toy egg can crack and create small parts, posing a choking risk for young children.
  • Fisher-Price recalled its Tissue Box Toy sold with SnugaPuppy Activity Centers due to choking hazard. The detachable tissue box toy can come apart, exposing the small support brackets.
  • Baby Bath Seats were recalled due to the risk of serious injury or death to babies from drowning hazards. The seats violate the federal safety regulations for infant bath seats because the bath seat is unstable and can tip over while in use, and the leg openings are too wide, allowing a baby to slip out of the seat.
  • Modus Furniture International recalled its Kentfield Dressers due to risk of serious injury or death from tip-over and entrapment hazards. The recalled dressers are unstable if they are not anchored to the wall.
  • Multifunctional Puzzle Crab Toys are being recalled due to the risk of serious injury or death due to ingestion hazard. When high-powered magnets are swallowed, the ingested magnets can attract each other, or another metal object, and become lodged in the digestive system. This can result in perforations, twisting, or blockage of the intestines, infection, blood poisoning, or death.
  • Costway recalled its Babyjoy Convertible High Chair Activity Centers due to entrapment and serious injury hazards. The centers pose entrapment hazards because the leg openings in the seat of the stationary activity center are too wide and a child can become entrapped in it, which is a violation of federal regulations for stationary activity centers.
  • Lil Pick Up recalled its Youth All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) due to injury hazards. The handlebars pose a laceration hazard if the child rider’s body or head strikes the handlebars at a high rate of speed. Additionally, the parking brakes fail to hold, posing a collision hazard. 
  • Kramer Laboratories recalled its Safetussin over-the-counter cold medicine, which contains acetaminophen, which must be in child-resistant packaging as required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act.
  • COMEONROA Infant Swings were recalled due to risk of serious injury or death from suffocation. The swings have an incline angle greater than 10 degrees, in violation of the Safe Sleep for Babies Act.
  • Leetous recalled its glow sticks and glasses party pack toys due to serious injury or death from ingestion. The button cell batteries are in a compartment that can be opened easily without requiring the use of a common household tool. When button cell and coin batteries are swallowed, they can cause serious injuries.
  • Joydeco recalled its roller window shades due to strangulation and entanglement hazards and risk of serious injury or death. The shades have long operating cords that can cause serious injury to children and also violate labeling requirements for window coverings.
  • American Bolt and Screw recalled its tip-over restraint kits distributed with clothing storage units due to tip-over and entrapment hazards for children. The plastic zip tie used with the furniture tip kits can become brittle or break, which can allow a storage unit anchored to the wall to detach.
  • Deals Oasis recalled its Shape Sorter Car Toys due to choking hazards. The toys contain balls that violate regulations banning small parts in toys intended for children under three years of age.
  • Huffy recalled its Torex UTV Ride-On Toys due to fire hazards. The toys can overheat due to improper wiring. 
  • AliExpress recalled its LED Strip Lights due to risk of serious injury or death from ingestion. The strip lights allow easy access to children to the lithium coin batteries.
  • Roll-Up Window Blinds have been recalled due to risk of serious injury or death from strangulation and entrapment. The blinds have long operating cords that can pose dangers for children. 
  • Window Roll Up Shades have been recalled due to strangulation and entanglement hazards. The shades have long operating cords that can pose dangers for children.
  • Huffy has recalled its Children’s Ride-On Tonka Dump Trucks due to fire and burn hazards. The controller on the trucks can overheat.

Here is a list of April 2024 recalls for child-related products. The list was collected from the following federal agencies: the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration

The Consumer Product Safety Commission is warning customers to stop using Randder Liquid Fuel Bottles due to a violation of the Children’s Gasoline Burn Prevention Act. The closure for the products is not child resistant, posing a risk of burns and poisoning.

Gasaciods Children’s Helmets were recalled due to the risk of head injury in violation of the Federal Safety Regulation for Bicycle Helmets. The helmets can fail to protect in the event of a crash, posing a risk of head injury.

Yoto Mini Speakers for Children were recalled because they can overheat and catch fire. The speakers pose burn and fire hazards to consumers.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission recalled Zazaba International’s Grao de Gente Baby Nests because they violate the safety requirements of CPSC’s Safety Standard for Infant Sleep Products. The nests pose a suffocation risk as well as fall and entrapment hazards to infants.

Zazaba International’s Grao de Gente Crib Bumpers were also recalled in violation of the Federal Crib Bumper Ban. The cribs were found to pose a suffocation hazard. Padded crib bumpers are banned under the Safe Sleep for Babies Act of 2021.

Lovey & Grink Children’s Pajamas were recalled in violation of federal flammability regulations. The pajamas were found to pose a risk of burn injuries to children.

Thule’s RideAlong Rear-Mounted Child Bike Seats were recalled because the harness padding can contain flame-retardant DecaBDE in excess of regulatory limits, posing a chemical hazard. DecaBDE can be toxic if ingested or if it comes into contact with skin or eyes.

The FDA recalled Sammy’s Milk goat milk toddler formula because the product does not provide sufficient nutrition when used as an infant formula.
