National Summit for Children’s Health in a Changing Climate

This Brazelton Touchpoints Center event will feature advocates in pediatrics, early childhood care and education, forestry, community development, public agencies, philanthropy, research, and journalism who will share their work in partnership with children and families living under new climate extremes.

Participants will be able to find out how communities, cities, countries, and states around the country are mobilizing to protect the spaces where today’s children live, breathe, and learn while building a safer future for tomorrow’s children.

The free virtual event will run from noon to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21.

Women for a Healthy Environment: Youth-Led Discussion on Climate Action

Women for a Healthy Environment will host a Youth Panel Discussion on climate change in March.

Inspired by the documentary “Youth v. Gov,” the panel will feature young leaders who are advocating for climate action, policy change, and a sustainable future. These leaders are taking steps to confront the climate crisis head-on.

Attendees are encouraged to watch the documentary on Netflix ahead of the panel. The film tells the story of 21 young Americans who filed a landmark constitutional lawsuit against the federal government for failing to protect their future.

The panel will be held from 6 p.m. to 7:3o p.m. on Thursday, March 27.  Registration for the free event is now open.
