Focusing on early childhood professionals working in home, center, and school-based settings, Trying Together delivers professional growth opportunities in-person, virtually, and online. Customized offerings can be created and targeted to individual or group goals, interests, or needs.

To submit a request for professional services, complete and submit Trying Together’s online request form. All requests must be received before June 1, 2020 to guarantee your preferred date.

Day of Play in Indiana County

For just $1 per person (max $5 per family), families and children can enjoy a range of fun activities at this year’s Day of Play fall event.

About

Day of Play is a low-cost event that provides recreational activities that promote physical activity for families with young children (ages two to ten recommended). The event features:

    • multiple bounce houses for all ages,
    • games with a variety of activities for young children,
    • a photo booth session with festive props,
    • handprint activities,
    • live demonstrations,
    • and opportunities to view and touch trucks, police cars, fire trucks, and a school bus!

Ice Skating

Immediately following the Day of Play event, White Township Recreation will be running a special rate for their public ice skating! Saturday public skate will be from 2 to 4 p.m. $3 public skate admission for all ages (skate rental included).

Raising Readers Together Club | Ages 0-5

The Raising Readers Together Club runs weekly and explores the importance of acceptance, equality, and tolerance through reading. Thursday sessions are suitable for children ages five and younger.

Raising Readers provides free books, discussion, food, songs, storytelling, and resources.

    • October 3: When Aidan Became a BrotherMommy’s Khimar
    • October 10: Magnets Push, Magnets Pull
    • October 17: Mixed: A Colorful Story

*The October 31 Raising Readers Together Club session will be hosted at the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh in Homewood – 7101 Hamilton Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15208.
