Hope for Handwriting: Pitt CEC Homewood

Sessions are available at Pitt CEC for students in Homewood to receive handwriting assistance. Interested families should register on the Pitt CEC website.

Handwriting is a complex skill that many children struggle with. Hope for Handwriting is a 1:1 class with a Pitt Occupational Therapy student. The goal of the program is to assist students who may be resistant to written work, having difficulty learning letters, or struggling with overall school performance.

Dates and Times

Sessions are available in 30 minute increments from 3:30 – 5 p.m. on the following dates:

Beyond the Bell: After-School Program in Homewood

Beyond the Bell is an after-school program focused on helping children learn how to be successful students. This program is twice per week at the SHRS Wellness Pavilion, a part of the W.E.L.L. (Wellness, Engagement, Living, and Learning) at the Community Engagement Center in Homewood.

Limited spots are available, and registration is required.
