The event includes stories, songs, and action rhymes. During the 30-minute program, families will meet new friends and develop early literacy skills.
The program is aimed at children ages birth to five years and their caregivers.
Story Time: Family Fun will run from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Monday, June 3 at the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh – Homewood, located at 7101 Hamilton Ave.
Join Macedonia FACE and the Hill District Early Literacy Initiative (HDELI) for “Story Time,” featuring Guest Storyteller and author Dr. Tammi LeNez Hunt. Dr. LeNez will read her book “Sunni Rae’s World: What Are Your Super Powers?”
A children’s craft/activity will precede the reading, and pizza, popsicles, and snacks will be provided.
