Town Hall: Meet Your Elected Officials

Residents of East Hills, Homewood, and surrounding areas are invited for a town hall discussion with local elected officials in late May.

The Voter Empowerment Education & Enrichment Movement is hosting the town hall at the Imani Christian Academy, located at 2150 East Hills Drive. The event will run from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on May 23.

Attendees will discuss challenges in the community and obtain information as well as offer ideas to elected officials representing the area. The event is a voter education opportunity.

The Voter Empowerment Education & Enrichment Movement was launched in 2017 to increase voter turnout for every election in Allegheny County. The group is a faith-based 501c3 nonpartisan community organization that hosts events year-round to engage and educate voters.

Parent Town Hall On COVID Safety (Virtual)

Are you ready to send your children back to child care, but have questions about COVID-19 precautions? Attend “Going Back to Child Care: Parent Town Hall on COVID Safety” to learn the facts so you can make the right decision for yourself and your family.

About

The goal of this Town Hall is to provide families with information (and reassurance) about returning to child care during the COVID-19 pandemic. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to submit their questions about going back to child care as it relates to COVID-19 safety. Questions will be accepted through Monday, February 8 at 5 p.m. If you miss that deadline, you can submit your questions live during the event.
