September 6, 2024 Voting Power Hour: Homewood Hub to Host Election Info Session The Homewood Early Learning Hub & Family Center and Trying Together’s Policy Team will host an event to enhance voting knowledge and readiness for the Nov. 5 election. Learn More Voting Power Hour: Quick Policy Pop-Up, is an hour-long session that will cover a number of topics relating to the election, including: Voter registration Absentee ballots First-time voters Creating a voting plan How voting affects one’s family and community More Details On-site child care will be provided during the event and refreshments will be available for all attendees. To volunteer with the Urban League, participants will need to fill out the free Pennsylvania Access to Criminal History (PATCH) form and the PA Child Abuse Clearance form. The upcoming dates are: Harambee Soul Fest (Williamsburg): 9 a.m. to noon or noon to 3 p.m. on June 28 and 30 Open Streets (through BikePGH): 10 a.m. to noon or noon to 2 p.m. on June 29 Those interested should fill out a form.
