CASA for Kids will honor National Child Abuse Prevention Month with its 2026 Walk for a Child event on Saturday, April 25 in Canonsburg.

The event – which focuses on support, advocacy, and change – is a mile-long walk that provides a chance to stand up for abused and neglected children and to help ensure their voices are heard.

Those interested in participating should meet at the Southpointe Town Center, located at 1900 Main St. in Canonsburg. The walk runs from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Adults will pay $25, while children under age 12 will get in for free.
