Point Park University will host a mayoral candidate forum on Tuesday, April 29 at the university’s Pittsburgh Playhouse.

The nonpartisan mayoral forum will host all candidates who are officially on the ballot for the Tuesday, May 20 election. All candidates have confirmed their attendance. The forum will be hosted in partnership with regional nonpartisan voting coalition Voting is Power and Public Source.
Chandi Chapman, a WTAE anchor and reporter, and Josiah Gilliam, executive director of PUMP, will moderate the event. The forum will run from 5:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Point Park University’s Pittsburgh Playhouse, located at 350 Forbes Ave.
The event is open to the public.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), along with four other companies, issued a recall on more than 165,000 infant incline sleepers due to a risk of suffocation.

According to the CPSC, the following companies have been impacted by the recall: Summer Infant, Graco, Delta Enterprises Corp., and Evenflo. The recall was issued due to reported infant fatalities after “the infants rolled from their back to their stomach or side, or under other circumstances” while using an infant incline sleeper. The CPSC urges consumers to immediately stop using the products listed below and to contact the companies to learn more about refund options.
