Tips for Choosing Healthy Drinks for Your Kids

Are you interested in hearing from Dr. Jennifer Shu about the importance of choosing healthy beverages for your family? Join HealthyChildren.org on February 12 for their online event, “Scale Back on Sugar: Tips for Choosing Healthy Drinks for Your Kids.”

About

Join Dr. Jennifer Shu as she discusses the importance of choosing healthy beverages for your family. Research shows that 75% of four- to eight-year-olds are not meeting the daily required intake of water. For older kids, the numbers are even worse. And, unfortunately, much of what kids are drinking contains lots of unnecessary sugar. After the presentation, families will be able to ask questions through a Q&A session.

Featured Topics

During this webinar, Dr. Shu will cover the following topics:

    • the science behind water intake,
    • the best drinks for kids (and parents),
    • how much water kids need at every age,
    • the downside of sugary drinks, and
    • tips for making water “cool” for kids.

Registration

To register for this event, complete the online registration form. If you are unable to join on the scheduled date, register to receive a link to the recorded presentation when it is available.
