May 15, 2023 City of Pittsburgh Invites Community Members to Attend In-Person Budget Meetings The City of Pittsburgh’s Office of Management and Budget is inviting Pittsburgh residents to share their input on the City’s 2024 Capital and Operating Budgets at a series of in-person community meetings. At these meetings, residents will have the opportunity to provide input about their budget priorities, prior to Department Directors creating their budget proposals. The information residents share will inform Director proposals. About In-Person Budget Meetings The City will host four in-person community engagement meetings to gather input from residents on their priorities for the 2024 budget. September 17, 2020 Allegheny County Infant/Toddler Early Intervention Plan In September 2020, the Allegheny County Department of Human Services Office of Behavioral Health released a plan and guidance on in-person Early Intervention (EI) services for infants and toddlers in the county. These documents were developed to inform EI program providers and participants of the strategies that will be implemented to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 as in-person services resume. About Because in-person Early Intervention services are provided in people’s homes and communities, the successful implementation of in-person services relies heavily on the team effort or EI professionals and participating families to follow the health and safety guidelines detailed in the Allegheny County Infant/Toddler Early Intervention Health and Safety Plan for Resuming In-Person Services. Program staff will work with families to offer quality Early Intervention services in the safest manner feasible. In addition to this plan, Allegheny County EI Providers and the EI SC Entity are expected to follow the Allegheny County Guidance for Conducting In-Person Infant/Toddler Early Intervention Services which outlines how and when EI in-person service provision will be carried out in Allegheny County during the Red, Yellow, and Green phases of reopening in Pennsylvania. These plans and guidelines were informed by existing best practice guidance from numerous sources, including the Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL), the Pennsylvania Department of Education, the Pennsylvania Department of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Office of Governor Tom Wolf, and local Allegheny County government officials. June 18, 2020 In-Person Operations to Resume July 6 Office Reopening On July 6, Trying Together will reopen its physical office spaces to the public by appointment at the following location: The Homewood Early Learning Hub & Family Center Reopening Date: Monday, July 6, 2020 M-F | 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. 7219 Kelly St, Pittsburgh, PA 15208 ELRC Region 5 Out of an abundance of caution with the rising COVID-19 cases in Allegheny County, ELRC Region 5 and its satellite offices will remain closed to the public for in-person services. Staff will continue to provide high-quality customer service via phone and video conferencing. Additional details about resuming in-person operations will be announced on Monday, August 3. Operations During COVID-19 Staff will be required to follow guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, including wearing a mask while walking through or working in communal spaces, socially distancing themselves from others by at least six feet at all times, sanitizing their workspaces regularly, and maintaining proper handwashing and sanitizing. Locations and departments may have limited in-office staff as some employees continue to telework. Trying Together staff are still accessible via phone or email as they continue to work remotely. After July 6, appointments are required for families and professionals interested in accessing services and support at Trying Together’s physical locations. In-person operations will continue to be dependent on recommendations provided by Governor Wolf and the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
