October 16, 2023 Boo! A Sensory Friendly Halloween Join Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh on Saturday, October 21, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. for a sensory-friendly family event. Trying Together and other Pittsburgh organizations will participate in this themed event for children, adults, and families who benefit from expanded accessibility and sensory accommodations. Children under two years of age are able to attend. September 26, 2019 SEL: The Importance of Strategy and Practice Join Remake Learning, educators, researchers, and leaders across the Pittsburgh region in discussing the research, application, and benefits behind SEL in the classroom, out of school, and at home. About The event will feature keynote speakers Felicia Savage Friedman of YogaRoots on Location and Kevin McNair and his team from 1 Nation Mentoring (PGH). Attendees will choose two breakout sessions (one morning and one afternoon) to attend during registration. Each session has a maximum of 30 attendees. If the session you choose is full, you may be placed in another. Breakfast and lunch provided. June 11, 2018 Kindergarten: Here I Come The transition to Kindergarten is a big step in the lives of young children and their families. Join the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh on Saturday, August 11, 2018 for its 14th Annual Kindergarten: Here I Come! event from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Every child entering Kindergarten and one caregiver will receive free admission to the Museum that day.
