This interactive story event is intended for preschool-aged children and runs from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. with small groups starting every 15 minutes.

Each week has a different theme and participants will be able to engage in a story, play an interactive game, and take a tractor ride to the Apple Castle’s orchard for a hands-on activity with Farmer Steve.
Themes for the rest of the summer include:
- July 29: Sweet corn
- August 5: Sweet corn
- August 12: Apples
The event costs $6 per child and $1 per adult. The Apple Castle is located at 227 State Route 18 in New Wilmington. Register online.

The event includes stories, songs, and action rhymes. During the 30-minute program, families will meet new friends and develop early literacy skills.
The program is aimed at children ages birth to five years and their caregivers.
Story Time: Family Fun will run from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Monday, June 3 at the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh – Homewood, located at 7101 Hamilton Ave.
Join Macedonia FACE and the Hill District Early Literacy Initiative (HDELI) for “Story Time,” featuring Guest Storyteller and author Dr. Tammi LeNez Hunt. Dr. LeNez will read her book “Sunni Rae’s World: What Are Your Super Powers?”
A children’s craft/activity will precede the reading, and pizza, popsicles, and snacks will be provided.
